Little Brother by Cory Doctorow

What if the government decided you were a terrorist, and your online gaming and chatting was suddenly considered a national security threat? Would you apologize (for what?), keep your nose clean (did you do something wrong?), and hope they will leave you alone from now on? Or would you fight back, deciding that true Americans do not give up American freedoms without a fight?

That's the dilemma facing the San Francisco teens in this exciting book from Science Fiction visionary Cory Doctorow, set in the near future with all-too-believable circumstances.

Great book. Scary cuz it could happen (maybe). I was moved to tears on multiple occasions by Marcus' fight to defend everyone's freedom; the history teacher in me rejoiced!
